Scorpions are relatives to Spiders. Most Scorpions found in homes are not poisonous, but they will sting but no more than a bee sting. They roam at night and rest during the day. Their habitat is dark places like attics, exterior walls, weep holes, closets, and even moist places like rocks, patios, landscape timbers and foundations.

A Scorpions diet of choice is small spiders and soft bodied insects even other species of Scorpions. They carry their young on their backs till they mature.

Prevention: Removal of stacked wood, loose boards, rocks, trash or debris. Sealing of windows, fascia boards, utility pipe entrances, vents and door frames, tightening thresholds are some things that can help aide in keeping Scorpions out. Contact us for a free inspection.
